If you’re planning to install a marble countertop, it’s best to stick to dark colors to minimize staining. 

Granite Countertops

Like marble, granite is also heat-resistant. Its timeless aesthetic appeal also makes granite countertops a great addition to kitchens with traditional designs. If you’re looking for a stain-resistant countertop, granite is less porous than marble. However, it still needs to be sealed.
